The Ribbon Calculations tab is the primary location for energy simulations and calculations in AECOsim Building Designer. The Calculations tab provides several tool groups. Tool groups contain individual tools that have related functions.

The Calculations tab tool groups are arranged in an intuitive workflow order in the following groups.

• Simulation group – Contains tools used to run energy simulations and daylighting calculations and review results reports detailing the energy conditions in your project buildings for time periods ranging from a single heating and cooling design day or for an entire year.
• Steady State Calculations group – Contains tools used to perform steady state calculations using calculation standards such as ASHRAE RTS, and CIBSE gains and losses.
