The Bentley DgnDb i-model Importer converts DGN V8-format packaged i-models (.i.dgn) into the compressed DgnDb-format (.imodel) i-models. The .imodel is compact and optimized for mobile apps, that may contain business data and embedded documents. By default, i-models (.imodel) are created next to the Package i-model location. AECOsim Building Designer includes the Bentley DgnDb i-model Importer version 01.05.09.x, which is based on i-model version 1.6. Bentley Navigator CONNECT Edition Update 3 and later for either desktop or mobile can review such i-models. The following table lists the support of different i-model versions:
