To place a building section callout with multipoint leader and broken leader line

  1. Select the Place Building Section Callout tool.
  2. In the tool settings window, key in the callout information.
  3. If on, turn off Leader Type to draw a broken leader line.
  4. Click the arrow at the bottom of the tool settings window and select Multipoint leader.
  5. Enter a data point to place the section callout and set the starting point for the leader line. The anchor point is identified with the first data point. Leader extensions are placed with successive data points.
  6. Continue to place data points for additional leader line extensions.
  7. Reset to set the placement of the second building section callout.
  8. Move the pointer to rotate the symbol to the desired direction, then enter a data point to set the direction of the building section callout.
  9. Move the pointer to a position on the leader line and place a data point to set the beginning of the leader line break.
  10. Place a second data point on the leader line to set the end of the leader line break and to complete the placement of the building section callout.
