The Building link set is an example of a typical Building project. Links to Building project data are stored in logical folders.

• Building Models – Design models and saved views within the active project are automatically linked to this folder.
• Building Views – Saved Building views created from view types available in the Building project are automatically linked to this folder.
• Drawings – Drawing models existing in the Building project are automatically linked to this folder.
• Sheets – All sheet models existing in the Building project are automatically linked to this folder.
• Files – A folder where you can manually create links to any file that is not harvested.

The objects inside each folder contain additional links forming a network of data associations with all project files. To illustrate this, consider the expansion of one of the Design Models in the Building link set. The expanded tree reveals two folders where Saved Views and References associated with the model are listed. Each Saved View and Reference is a link to the model. These can be applied to views, and they can be opened or referenced to an active file. A right click menu provides the options for this functionality.
