Attach More Structural DataGroup Definitions (*.xsd)

In Catalog Editor dialog ensure

> Show Catalog Items is checked.

Navigate to the UserDefinedStructuralMember type.

Select right-click > Properties to open the Catalog Type Definition dialog .

Note: In the Definition settings, the Tool Template is set to either Place Structural Member or Place Structural Member Between.

Attach required definitions by setting them in the Definition controls. Select the following definitions (XSD) from Available Definitions list and moving them in the Selected Definitions.

Set defaults for the new properties.

ObjectMaterial – The Part Definition property sets Part and Family information. Part information is used for Structural member resymbolization functionality including analytical member resymboliztion.
ObjectStructuralUsage – Properties like Structural Function Sets behavior of several downstream (after placement) Structural discipline analysis functionality
SteelBeamResults – Allows the user defined member to import/export analysis data like camber, reaction forces and stud counts.

Refresh the catalog and open the Place User Defined Structural Member tool.

The added definitions properties appear on the Place User Defined Structural Member tool's properties list. The three expanded properties group correspond to XSDs added.
