Edit Space

Used to display, edit, and control datagroup instance data associated with a space.

Setting	Description
Space Type	Changes the Space Type catalog definition (the business name) for the selected space. This action does not change the space properties or graphic representation (including the label) of the space.
Apply Space Type Defaults	When on, all existing attribute values are replaced by those of the newly selected Space Type.
Apply/Edit column	Click an Apply/Edit column field to place a check mark. This enables the property value for editing. Click an Apply/Edit column field again to remove the check mark. This disables the property value from editing and makes the value read only. Note: When a check mark is removed from an Apply/Edit field, the value for that property automatically changes to the property value previously stored on the selected space. The property value becomes read only and is disabled from editing.
Name column	Displays datagroup application (bold text) and user property names.
Value column	Displays datagroup application and user property values. DataGroup instance data can be edited by clicking the applicable row cell to (1) select a value from an option menu or to (2) enter a value in a text editor field. Note: All property values can be edited except Actual Area. The Edit Space cannot change the physical size of a space boundary and therefore cannot edit the actual area value of a space. Actual Area and Perimeter property values can be edited only for spaces that are created with no shape boundary. In that case, simply select the space label to edit the properties in the Edit Space dialog.
