Nodal Load Properties dialog

Used to define nodal loads that are assigned to the structure.

Opens when either:
  • PropTable > Lateral Loads > Nodal Loads is selected
  • the Nodal Loads tool is selected from the Layout Loads dynamic toolbar

Note: This tool may only be accessed in Elevation mode.
SettingDescription
Label Type a label used to identify the load for application.
Force/Moment Type the force and moment values acting on nodes in each global direction:
  • Fx
  • Fy
  • Fz
  • Mxx
  • Myy
  • Mzz
nodal loads table This table includes all lateral nodal loads defined in the model.
Add Click to add the specified values to a new load.
Delete Click to delete the currently selected load in the table. If the load is assigned in the model, a warning is displayed an the load is not deleted.
Change Click to update the currently selected load in
