Lateral Load Cases dialog

Used to define load cases for classifying nodal or pressure loads.

Opens when either:

PropTable > Lateral Load Cases is selected
the Lateral Load Case tool is selected from the Layout Load dynamic toolbar

Note: This tool may only be accessed in Elevation mode.

Setting	Description
Load Case Label	Type a label used to identify the lateral load case.
Lock Diaphragm Displacements	A flag to prevent diaphragms from displacing for this load case. This is used to isolate out-of-plane wall behavior.
Load Type	Select the type of load used by RAM Frame when generating load combinations. Wind Seismic Other Virtual
lateral load case table	The lateral load cases added to the model are listed here.
Add	Click to add a new lateral load case with the specified parameters.
Delete	Click to delete the currently selected lateral load case from the table. If the lateral load case is used in the model, then a warning is displayed and the load case is not deleted.
Change	Click the change the parameters of the currently selected lateral load in the table to the current parameters.
