Reports - Transverse Reinforcement Check

Selecting the Reports - Transverse Reinf Check command will cause a Transverse Reinforcement Check to be run and a Report to be generated. During the Transverse Reinforcement Check, the required area of transverse reinforcement is calculated for each beam. If the required area exceeds the provided area, the beam and the required area, Asv, are listed in the Transverse Reinforcement Report.

Specify the Steel Sheeting properties, pyp and tp, and the Reinforcement properties, fy and provided Asv. If different areas of the layout use different values it will be necessary to run the report for each different set of values. Note that if 0.0 is specified as the Provided Asv, the report will list all beams that need any transverse reinforcement. However, since some minimum reinforcement in the slab is required by Code, it is generally more helpful to specify that reinforcement as the provided Asv because then the report will only list those beams for which the typical Asv is not adequate.
