Criteria - CoreBrace
The general properties for CoreBrace® buckling restrained braces can be defined in this dialog.
Selecting opens CoreBrace Criteria dialog. These values apply to all CoreBrace buckling restrained braces.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Cd | Deflection amplification factor |
| Fy max / Fy min | Yield strength for major and minor axis bending |
| Minimum Clearance | Refers to the distance between the workpoint location and the end of the brace |
| Stiffness Modifier | This is axial stiffness modifier. Select to either Use Calculated (by the program) or Use a specific value you type. |
