The View - Pen Colors command allows the user to change the color of the screen display. Color changes are not saved to the database and are therefore only available during the current design session. Colors return to the defaults upon exiting RAM Steel Beam Design.

Other attributes of the structural model that are not depicted by the normal graphical mode can be shown using the View - Set Show Options command. These include the ability to view for example the users assignment to Ignore Rib Spacing. When that option is selected, all of the beams that have the Ignore Rib Spacing assignment are highlighted, similarly as is done for the other items in that command which include material types, assigned design tables, material strengths etc.
