Adding a Noncomposite Decking Property

  1. Select the Noncomposite Floor System tab.
  2. Type the Label.
  3. Type the Unit Weight for Self-Weight. This is used as the self-weight if that option is selected.
  4. Type the Effective Thickness.

    This is only used if the diaphragm is specified as Semirigid in RAM Frame; otherwise it need not be entered.

  5. Type the Poisson's Ratio.

    This is only used if the diaphragm is specified as Semirigid in RAM Frame; otherwise it need not be entered.

  6. Type the Elastic Modulus.

    This is only used if the diaphragm is specified as Semirigid in RAM Frame; otherwise it need not be entered.

  7. Click Add. You will then see the newly created Decking Property entered into the list box.
