Grid lines will be drawn on-screen with the end limits specified by the user. Limits on either, neither, or both ends of the grid line may be specified. If no limit is specified for a particular end the extent will automatically be limited by the extreme grid in the opposite direction. This is the default.

This feature is useful in reducing the number of nodes created by crossing grids.
