When a new model is started, you have the opportunity to import a CAD DXF file to create the framing in a floor layout type.

After a Floor Type has been defined, the Import DXF... command in the Layout - Type menu will become enabled. Choosing this command will bring up the Import DXF dialog box. Using the File Name, List Files of Type, Directories and Drives edit boxes, the DXF file can be identified for the RAM Modeler.

Clicking the OK button will commence importing of the file. Clicking the Cancel button will cause the Import DXF dialog box to disappear. No import action will be taken.
