To specify criteria items specific to the British design codes, use the following procedure.

1. Select Criteria > BS5950 Parameters.
   
   The BS 5950 Parameters dialog opens.
2. (Optional) To specify material-related parameters, select the Section Options tab and then select or type the values.
3. (Optional) To specify the composite design modular ratio method:
   1. Select the Modular Ratio tab.
   2. Select either the Use (specify the modular ratio directly) or the Calculate (specify the % of live load used for long-term loads) option.
4. Click OK.
