Options - User Interface

The User Interface Options dialog allows various user interface options to be set.

The Draw user sized members to scale box contains check boxes to control whether to use a generic (and large so it is easy to see) size when representing members of the given material and member type, or to draw them to scale based on their user assigned size. Members with no user assigned size will use the generic size, no matter what is selected. Use the Check All and Uncheck All buttons to either check or uncheck all the options in the box.

The Fill concrete/other columns in Plan View check box controls whether or not the rectangle drawn for concrete and other columns is filled in. It is checked by default, but this can hide other members that meet at that point, particularly ones on Reference Layout Types.

The Fill concrete/other walls in Plan View check box controls whether or not the rectangle drawn for concrete and other walls is filled in. It is checked by default, but this can hide other members that meet at that point, particularly ones on Reference Layout Types.

The Show cursor in snap mode check box controls whether the default arrow cursor is shown along with the snap cursor when performing operations that use snap points. By default, this check box is checked, but unchecking it reverts RAM Modeler to the behavior from previous versions, where the arrow cursor was hidden.

The Status bar mouse coordinates box allows the precision used for coordinates in the status bar to be set. This only controls the display precision used for the mouse cursor location that is shown in the bottom right of RAM Modeler's status bar.
