Used to select and manage link sets. Opens when the Manage Link Sets icon is clicked in the Links tab of the Project Explorer dialog.
You can dock the Link Sets dialog to the left or right edge of the application window.

Creates a link set.
Key-in: project tree create <link_set_name> <file_name>

Copies the selected link set.

Opens the Select Link Set File dialog, which is used to import a file that contains link sets. The controls in this dialog are analogous to those in the Open dialog (File > Open). If the imported file does not contain any link sets an error message appears in the message center.
If one or more link sets in the selected file have the same name as existing link sets in the open DGN file, then an alert box gives you the option of overwriting the existing link sets, or renaming them automatically as they are imported.

Deletes the selected link set.
Key-in: project tree delete <link_set_name>

(ProjectWise only) If you have the link set's DGN file checked out, a blue Check In icon appears. Clicking the small arrow on the right side of this icon lets you check in the DGN file or update the server copy. If you have the link set's DGN file open but it is not available to be checked in, the Check In icon is gray and is unavailable.

(ProjectWise only) If you have the link set's DGN file open and someone else has it checked out and has changed it, a green Check Out icon appears. Clicking the small arrow on the right side of this icon lets you check out the DGN file or refresh the local copy. If you have the link set's DGN file open in read-only mode, the Check Out icon is gray and is unavailable.

Allows you to select the source of your link set. Determines which link sets appear in the list box below.

Opens the Select Link Set File dialog, which is used to select a DGN file that contains link sets. The controls in this dialog are analogous to those in the Open dialog (File > Open).

Lists the link sets in the location selected using the drop-down list box above. To open a link set in the Project Explorer dialog, double-click it.
Key-in: project TREE ACTIVE <link_set_name>

Right-clicking a link set presents a list of actions that you can perform on the selected link set.
Copy — The effect is the same as clicking the Copy Link Set icon.
Rename — Allows you to type a new name for the selected link set.
Delete — The effect is the same as clicking the Delete Link Set icon.
Key-in: PROJECT TREE RENAME <new_link_set_name> <link_set_to_rename>
