Layout - Horizontal Braces - Add On-Grid
Selecting the Layout - Horizontal Braces - Add On-Grid command will cause the Add Horizontal Brace On-Grid Mode dialog box to appear. In this dialog box, you define the material properties of the new Horizontal Brace. Depending on the material chosen from the Materials menu, the contents of this dialog box will vary.
Once horizontal brace properties have been entered, click either Single or Fence.
| Setting | Description |

| Single: | Click the plus sign cursor on a SnapTo point defining one end of the horizontal brace. Move the cursor to the SnapTo point defining the second end of the horizontal brace and click the mouse button to place the horizontal brace. |
| Fence: | Fence an area in which horizontal braces will be place between all existing columns. |
Return to the Add Horizontal Brace On-Grid Mode dialog box with the Right Mouse Button or the "D" key.
Return to the Layout - Horizontal Braces menu with the " M" key.
Clicking the Cancel button or selecting any other RAM Modeler Layout command will end the Layout - Horizontal Braces - Add-On Grid command.
