There are a number of criteria items that the engineer can set to arrive at a design that is in line with the design philosophy of the engineering firm. Defaults for these criteria are set using the Defaults Utility accessed through the RAM Manager.

Criteria can be modified on a per project basis, using the Criteria command within RAM Foundation. Changing any of the criteria after foundations have been designed will negate the current design.
