During the Code Check process, stress on lateral steel members is checked for all program generated load combinations, as well as for user defined load combinations. Once the code check is completed, the model is redrawn on the screen with members color coded to indicating to what degree each member is over stressed or under stressed.

The Code Check Color dialog box, provides a legend that correlates the color displayed on the screen to the degree of stress that that member is experiencing. Clicking the Close button will remove this dialog box from the screen. To reinstate the dialog box, issue View - Options - Color Scale from the View menu.
