The floor loads that are distributed to a wall at a particular level are calculated by the program, and loads in Gravity walls are distributed to supporting members below, whether a beam, column or another wall based on a simple vertical takedown of loads. For such multi-level wall systems, a more precise takedown of wall forces can be obtained by including all walls as part of the lateral system and performing a frame analysis in RAM Frame.

Live Load Reduction factors are calculated for walls, similarly as is done for beams and columns, as appropriate.
