Analyze

Selecting the Process > Analyze command opens the Analyze dialog box. The load cases are listed in the list box. Those that are available to be analyzed are indicated with a green dot. Load cases that are not available are indicated by a red dot.

For seismic load cases the red dot could indicate that there is no mass assigned to one or more stories, or for wind load cases that there are no Extents on the structure.

Select the load cases you wish to analyze by clicking on the appropriate cases in the list box. When a load case is selected, it will become highlighted, indicating that it is to be analyzed. Several load cases can be analyzed at once by highlighting multiple load cases in the list box. The Select All button provides a quick means of choosing all load cases for analysis.

Note: Each new analysis overwrites the results of the prior analysis thereby making only the most recently analyzed load cases available to Process - Results , Reports and Design (Steel, Drift Control) post-processing.

When all desired load cases have been selected, click OK to start the analysis process. Clicking Cancel, will return you to the RAM Frame program without performing the analysis.
